This week in The Gooru Corner: Order of Operations
Submitted by Tommy Cornelis on September 10, 2012
Welcome back to The Gooru Corner! This week’s theme is the Order of Operations. The Order of Operations is a fundamental rule of math that clarifies which procedures should be performed first in a mathematical expression. A commonly taught technique for remembering the Order of Operations is PEMDAS, but we think practice, practice, practice works equally well for students’ memory. Today we’re featuring an Order of Operations game, and we’ll share a collection and quiz with you on Wednesday and Friday.
