New Profile of the Day: Udacity

Udacity is a relatively new company with the mission of "democratizing education."  They offer free online college level courses to students of all ages.  Currently, these courses are mainly focused on computer science and mathematics, but new subjects and courses are being added.  Students watch lectures online created by a professor according to a curriculum.  Accompanying these lectures are quizzes, tests, and homework that the student must complete before a deadline.  At the end of the course, students who completed all of the work will recieve a certificate signed by the instructor signifying that they have completed the course.  For people who just want to learn about topics in a guided setting, Udacity provides a framework in which to learn.  To learn more about Udacity, visit it on STEMconnector today!
