New Profile of the Day: Center for STEM Education for Girls

The Harpeth Hall School is creating a transformation on the educational opportunities for girls by establishing The Center for STEM Education for Girls to increase participation by girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math studies in high school and college and to encourage them to aspire to STEM careers.  Through creating a conference and consortium, the Center hopes to help teachers inspire their students, as well as develop new practices to increase participation.  In addition, they are working to create a STEM Summer Institute for girls entering high school that will work to immerse them in the different STEM fields.  To learn more, visit the Center for STEM Education for Girls on STEMconnector today!
