Job Announcement for FIRST Regional Director in DC!

Want to help expand one of the largest and more successful STEM competitions in the Mid-Atlantic Region? Then you're in luck because FIRST is hiring a Regional Director in DC! 

 

The Regional Director will report to the VP of Field Operations and work collaboratively with FIRST program directors and staff at FIRST Headquarters and FIRST Regional Directors and staff in the National Capital Regional (MD, DC, and VA) in the development, growth and support of the FIRST Programs which include the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and FIRST LEGO League (FLL) at the local and regional level.  In addition, the Regional Director will work closely with the Regional Director of the National Capital Region to develop a strategy, determine partnerships, and identify resources for FIRST activities and competitions held in Washington D.C. The goal is to create and maintain a volunteer driven, self-sustaining group that will support the growth goals for all programs in the region. The Regional Director will also be responsible for the FRC regional competition(s).  The candidate must be a self- starter, have strong writing and organizational skills, and be able to work with a diverse group of people in a fast paced environment.
