Hawaii's First STEM Week
Today is the first day of Hawaii's first annual STEM week, taking place at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The three day conference will be running alongside the Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair, and will include a Technology Exposition, a networking event, and will culminate in a banquet honoring Hawaii's premier STEM middle and high school programs, as well as the winning students and teachers who participated in those programs. Senator Daniel Inouye will be giving the keynote speech, with additional remarks by Dr. YoungHwan Kim, President of the Institute of APEC Collaborative Education.
