ASQ publishes Advancing the STEM Agenda: Quality Improvement Supports STEM

 

7/5/2012 Press Release- ASQ Education Division with the University of Wisconsin-Stout has published Advancing the STEM Agenda: Quality Improvement Supports STEM (May, 2012), a collection of 17 conference papers and workshops from the 2011 ASQ Advancing the STEM Agenda Conference, focused on innovative and high impact practices for improving K-16 STEM Education and helping students successfully transition to STEM careers. The book is edited by Drs. Cindy P. Veenstra, Fernando Padró and Julie Furst-Bowe.  A university president, who reviewed the book, wrote “The editors have successfully contributed to our need for focusing on collaborative models, building the K-12 pipeline, showing what works at the collegiate level, connecting across gender issues, and illustrating workforce and innovative ideas.”
