STEMconnector™ is pleased to announce that My College Options® will be releasing "STEM Factoids" everyday on the STEMconnector™ Blog and Tumblr Page! As a result of My College Options®'s nationwide survey of high school students, they have tons of great data specifically on student interest in STEM! These STEM Factoids wlll include information on gender and diversity gaps, major interests, and state trends just to name a few.
So here's the very 1st STEM Factoid (already posted on the STEMconnector.tubmlr.com):
Current high school students interested in a STEM major/career are 20% more likely to be taking gifted/accelerated courses than students not interested in STEM.
The Data for STEM Factoids is provided by My College Options® (mycollegeoptions.org). My College Options is operated by the National Research Center for College & University Admissions™ (NRCCUA®) For additional information, please contact Ed Doody (firstname.lastname@example.org).
